Crispy easy corn fritters make the perfect side dish to serve alongside chicken or pork, or any other main meal. They are so quick and easy to make. Canned corn is mixed with flour, and seasonings and formed into patties. The corn patties are pan-fried in oil until both sides are lightly browned. Serve along side any meal for a quick and easy side dish.

Canned corn is mixed with flour, baking powder, and seasonings, along with eggs and milk. Form mixture into patties. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the corn patties and cook until evenly browned on both sides. Drain patties on paper towels and serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 15 oz.) cans corn, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine corn, flour, baking powder, seasonings, eggs, and milk. Form mixture into patties. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  • Cook patties until lightly browned on both sides.
