Quick and easy classic green bean casserole made with only 5 simple ingredients. It takes just minutes to make this simple dish, but it is a favorite for many people on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter dinner. This classic green bean casserole is always on the table for any holiday dinner. Everyone loves the creamy green beans topped with crispy french fried onions.

The only ingredients that you need for this simple casserole is two cans of green beans, a can of cream of mushroom soup, milk, and a container of french fried onions. Drain the cans of green beans, and mix with a can of cream of mushroom soup, milk, and 1/2 of the french fried onions. Spread it into a greased baking dish, and top with the remaining fried onions. Bake until the onions are crispy.

Classic Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 15 oz.) cans green beans, drained
  • 1 ( 10 oz. ) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 ( 6 oz.) container french fried onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a 9-inch round baking dish, combine green beans with cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix until smooth.
  • Fold in 1/2 of the fried onions. Top with the remaining half of the onions. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
