Creamy sweet cheesecake over a graham cracker crust, and topped off with a can of cherry pie filling. These easy and delicious cherry cheesecake bars are so easy to make, and they make the perfect dessert for any holiday or occasion. Such as Valentine’s day or Christmas. The cherry pie filling goes perfectly with the sweet cream cheese filling. Everyone will love this easy cheesecake.

The graham cracker crust for the cheesecake bars is made first, by mixing crushed graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. The mixture is pressed into a greased square baking dish. For the cheesecake filling, cream cheese is mixed with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. The filling is poured evenly over the graham cracker crust. And the cherry pie filling is added to the top of the cheesecake filling. It is baked until it is fully cooked through. Let cool completely before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese with granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Press the graham cracker mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Pour the cheesecake filling over the graham cracker crust.
  • Add the cherry pie filling over the cheesecake filling. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
