Chewy chocolate brownie cookies filled with sweet cherry pie filling. These easy brownie cookies are so quick and easy to make, you can either make the brownie batter yourself or use a box of brownie mix and fold cherry pie filling into it. The brownie batter is then cooked like cookies. This makes a fun and easy treat that everyone will love.

The brownie batter is quick and easy to make because all of the ingredients are whisked together in the same large mixing bowl. You can also use a box of brownie mix and prepare it according to package directions. Fold a can of cherry pie filling into the brownie batter, and use a cookie scoop to place the brownie batter onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until they are completely cooked through. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the cherry pie filling. Using a cookie scoop, place brownie batter onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
