Cheesy crusty bread makes the perfect side dish to serve along side a bowl of soup or pasta. This bread is cheesy and delicious with shredded cheddar cheese mixed into the dough. Warm homemade bread is always great to have, but with the addition of cheddar cheese, it makes it even better. The cheese melts right inside the dough, making it a delicious side dish for any meal.

To start this bread, active dry yeast is activated in a bowl of warm water and sugar. Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes, until it is foamy. Mix flour, salt and cheese in a large bowl and stir in the yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it is smooth. Place the dough into a large bowl that has been greased with non-stick cooking spray and let rise until the dough has doubled in size. Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a ball. Place each ball onto a baking sheet and let rise for another 30-60 minutes. Bake until the top of the bread is lightly golden browned.
