Carrot Shaped Cheese Ball

Creamy classic cheese ball covered with cheddar cheese. It looks like a carrot, topped with sliced green bell pepper, perfect for an Easter themed appetizer to make this year. There is no baking or cooking involved in this dish, all of the ingredients are mixed together in a mixing bowl. It makes a great centerpiece or appetizer for serve for Easter dinner. You can eat it with crackers, even sliced bell peppers and celery.
To make the cream cheese mixture, softened cream cheese is mixed with half of the cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic power, onion powder, parsley, and paprika. Shape the cheese mixture into a carrot shape and wrap in foil. Refrigerate for up to two days, before serving. Just before serving, roll the cheese ball in shredded cheddar cheese and set onto a serving plate. Place sliced green bell pepper on top or even chopped cilantro  on top, and serve with crackers or veggies.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese with one cup shredded cheddar cheese, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and paprika. Form cheese mixture into a triangle carrot shape and wrap in foil.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour. Place shredded cheddar cheese in a shallow dish. Roll cheese ball into the shredded cheddar cheese. Set onto a serving plate and add pepper to the top. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
