Barbecue sauce and burgers are the start of the spring summer season. Juicy burgers with barbecue sauce mixed into the burgers. But instead of grilling these burgers, they are baked in the oven. These burgers are juicy with barbecue flavor, the perfect burger for any time of the year. Top these burgers with your favorite cheese and more barbecue sauce with a side of fries or chips for a delicious summer meal.

To make these burgers, ground beef is crumbled into a large bowl along with some seasonings and barbecue sauce. Shape the beef mixture into 4 equal sized patties. Place the burgers onto a greased rimmed baking sheet. Bake until the burgers are no longer pink. If you want cheese burgers, you can top them with cheese and then place them back into the oven for a few more minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. In a large bowl, crumble ground beef. Mix with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and barbecue sauce.
  • Shape hamburger mixture into four equal sized patties. Place burgers onto a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
