Easy cheesy beef casserole with canned biscuit dough that tastes like a classic cheese burger in casserole form. The beef mixture is made with ketchup and pickles, like a classic cheese burger. But with the addition of a can of tomato soup added to the mixture to give it more of a tomato flavor. It is baked with canned biscuit dough, creating a delicious easy dinner that everyone will love.

The cheese burger beef mixture is made by browning ground beef until no longer pink, and mixing with tomato soup, ketchup, pickles, mustard and seasonings. Mix the beef mixture with biscuit dough in a baking dish and cover with shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkle with cooked and crumbled bacon on top. Bake until the biscuit dough is fully cooked through and the cheese has fully melted.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 ( 14 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spatula until no longer pink, drain grease. Add in tomato soup, ketchup, pickles, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Let simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and place into a large greased baking dish. Mix with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and top with crumbled bacon. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
