Air-Fryer Buffalo Chicken Jalapeno Poppers

Spicy and delicious homemade jalapeno poppers filled with a creamy spicy buffalo chicken mixture. Both jalapeno poppers and buffalo chicken are classic game day appetizers or snacks. Combined they make the perfect snack to enjoy for game day or super bowl parties. The buffalo mixture is made with a homemade buffalo sauce mixed with cooked chicken and cream cheese. It is then filled into large jalapeno peppers and cooked in the air-fryer until the peppers are crispy.

To make the buffalo chicken mixture, cooked chicken is mixed with cream cheese, a mixture of hot sauce and melted butter, and shredded cheddar cheese. Spoon the chicken mixture into jalapeno peppers and cook in batches in the air-fryer until the peppers are crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 large jalapeno peppers
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air-fryer to 400 F. Slice jalapeno peppers in half and remove seeds. In a small bowl, combine hot sauce and melted butter.
  • Combine chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce mixture, and cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
  • Fill each jalapeno pepper with the chicken mixture. Place in the air-fryer basket, air-fry for 10-12 minutes.
