Baked beans is a classic southern side dish that goes great with any main meal. Bacon, ketchup and brown sugar are all added to canned beans and baked, resulting is a delicious side dish. Using canned pork and beans makes this dish simple to prepare. There is no need to cook the beans, everything is mixed together in a baking dish and baked. Serve as a side dish to go along with barbecue, chicken or any main meal.
Canned pork and beans mixed with ketchup, brown sugar, bacon, molasses, worcestershire sauce and mustard in a baking dish. And baked in the oven for one hour. You can also make these beans in a crock-pot instead if you would rather. To prepare in a crock-pot, combine all of the ingredients in a large crock-pot and let cook on low for 6-8 hours. Or on high heat for 3-4 hours.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 14 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. In a baking dish, combine pork and beans, ketchup, brown sugar, bacon, molasses, worcestershire sauce and mustard.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
