White Chocolate Chip Candy Cane Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add in egg and peppermint extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  3. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
