Red Velvet Cookie Dough Truffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Place the flour and cocoa powder into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave for about 40 seconds.
  • In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and milk, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the red food coloring, and mix until it is fully red.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large plate. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Use a fork to fully coat each cookie dough truffle into the melted chocolate. Set onto plates, and let sit until the chocolate has completely set.
