Peppermint Kiss Brownie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 12 chocolate peppermint kisses

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with cupcake liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
  2. Add in eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips and divide the brownie batter between the prepared muffin cups. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and place one chocolate kiss on top of each brownie cup. Let cool completely.
