Oreo Stuffed Grinch Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • green food coloring
  • Oreo cookies
  • heart sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined.
  2. Add in the food coloring and mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls and flatten slightly. Place one Oreo cookie on each cookie dough and roll into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with a heart sprinkle.
