Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place potatoes into a large saucepan over medium heat. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Let simmer until fork tender. Drain and place into a large bowl.
  • Mash with the remaining ingredients using either a potato masher or hand mixer until smooth.
