Lemon Cake Mix Red, White and Blue Cookies

  • 1 (15 oz.) box lemon cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • red, white and blue sanding sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Place sanding sugars into three shallow dishes.
  2. Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll each one into a dish of sanding sugar. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
