Jack-O-Lantern Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 9-inch pie crusts
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Roll out one pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until it is no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks with a spatula.
  • Drain grease and return meat to skillet. Stir in ketchup, mustard, sliced pickles, salt and pepper. Continue to cook mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes to heat through.
  • Place meat mixture in the pie crust, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over mixture. Roll the remaining pie crust out and cut it into a jack-o-lantern face. Place the pie dough over the cheese, sealing the edges. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
