Honey Cornbread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a large bowl, whisk flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking powder together. Add in the egg, milk, honey, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the cornbread batter into a greased round 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
