Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 large eggs

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9-inch bundt cake pan. In a large bowl with a mixer, beat softened butter and granulated sugar together until fluffy.
  2. Add in eggs and beat until smooth. Add in flour and beat until all of the flour is incorporated. Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, to 1 1/2 hours, until the center comes out clean.
