Homemade Chick-Fil-A Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. elbow pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 oz. cobly jack cheese
  • 5 slices american cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan romano cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add in flour and cook for a minute to brown.
  2. Pour in milk, colby jack cheese, american cheese, parmesan romano cheese, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook over medium heat, while whisking constantly until thickened. Mix sauce with pasta.
  3. Evenly spread pasta out into a large greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
