Gingerbread Blondies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter, eggs, brown sugar, molasses and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger until smooth.
  2. Evenly spread the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
