Fourth of July White Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodle Cookie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the sprinkles and white chocolate chips. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies into the prepared muffin pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
