Fourth of July Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix butter with powdered sugar until smooth. Add in vanilla extract and flour, and mix until combined. Fold in the sprinkles.
  • Roll the dough into balls and flatten each one slightly. Place the cookies onto a ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
