Creamy Shells and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. small shell pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place into a large bowl. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add in flour and cook for a minute to brown.
  • Pour in milk, cheese, salt, pepper, and mustard powder. Cook over medium heat, while whisking constantly until thickened and the cheese has fully melted.
  • Mix sauce with pasta.
