Chocolate Kiss Stuffed Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar, and ground cinnamon. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and flatten each one slightly. Place one chocolate kiss on each cookie. Roll the cookie dough into balls. Roll each cookie into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  • Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
