Cake Mix Grinch Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodle Cookies

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • green food coloring
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • heart sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Add in the green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar with ground cinnamon. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart.
  3. Place one heart sprinkle on each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
