Cake Mix Christmas Snickerdoodle Cookies

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • red and green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough between two bowls and mix one with red food coloring and one with green.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Roll each cookie in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
