Butterscotch M&M Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup butterscotch baking chips
  • 1 cup M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Fold in the butterscotch chips and M&Ms.
  • Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
