Valentine’s Day M&M Peanut Butter Balls

Easy peanut butter balls for Valentine’s day. They are made like classic peanut butter balls, but with Valentine’s day themed M&Ms mixed into the dough. Everyone will love the classic peanut butter and chocolate flavors of these candies with a fun Valentine’s day themed twist.

The peanut butter balls are made similar to classic peanut butter balls, except for the addition of Valentine’s day themed M&Ms mixed into the dough. Roll the mixture into balls and freeze while you melt the chocolate chips. Melt the chocolate in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Coat each peanut butter ball in the melted chocolate and set onto plates. Let them sit until the chocolate has completely set.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Valentine's day M&Ms
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix butter and peanut butter together until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar until it is fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms.
  • Roll the mixture into balls and set onto a plate. Freeze for at least 20 minutes. Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Fully coat each peanut butter ball in the mixture and set onto a plate. Let sit until the chocolate has completely set.
