Summer is the burger and grilling season. But instead of using red meat for them, these burgers are made with turkey instead. But still just as juicy and delicious. Replacing ground beef for ground turkey in these burgers is great way to reduce your red meat intake, while still enjoying a juicy burger. These make a great summer meal to be grilled, or cooked inside on the stove top. These burgers are a great healthy summer meal served with fries or your favorite chips. Serve in hamburger buns with all of your favorite burger toppings.

Ground turkey is mixed in a large bowl with panko bread crumbs, seasonings and worcshtershire sauce. Careful to not overwork the mixture so that it is not tough. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and set aside. There are two ways that you can cook these burgers. The first way is to grill them just as you would beef burgers using either an outdoor or indoor grill. Or if you don’t have a grill or the weather is not suitable grilling, you can cook the burgers on the stove-top. To cook the burgers on the stove top, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the burgers to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and no longer pink.
