Nachos are a great appetizer for game day or just as a tasty snack. But instead of the traditional tortilla chips as the base for these nachos, frozen tater tots are used. Cheesy tater tots that are covered in cheddar cheese and garnished with all of your favorite nacho toppings, such as hot sauce, sour cream and guacamole. You can add anything to these delicious tater tots, just as you would top regular nachos. The tater tots are cheesy and crispy, they are the perfect snack for any party or to enjoy while watching the game.

To prepare the tater tot nachos, lay a bag of frozen tater tots out onto a large baking sheet in one single layer. Bake the tater tots according to the package directions. Remove them from the oven and evenly sprinkle cheddar cheese over the tater tots. Bake them for a couple more minutes, just until the cheese has melted. Remove the tater tots from the oven and garnish them with your choice of toppings. You can add anything that you would normally put on nachos, my favorites are hot sauce, sour cream and pickled jalapenos. But you can add anything that you want, you can even add cooked ground meat on top of them.
