Quick and easy blossom cookies for Valentine’s day made using a box of strawberry cake mix and heart shaped chocolates. Blossom cookies are usually made using chocolate kisses, but for these blossom cookies, heart shaped chocolate is topped on strawberry cake mix cookies. They make the perfect easy treat to bake this Valentine’s day as a fun blossom cookie alternative.
The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of strawberry cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Once they come out of the oven, place one heart shaped chocolate onto each cookie. Let cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
