Roasted Cauliflower Steak

Crispy and delicious oven-roasted cauliflower steaks make a great vegan or vegetarian meal. It takes less than 30 minutes to make this meal from start to finish. Serve with a side of your favorite vegetables, and mashed potatoes or pasta for a delicious and healthy meat-free meal. You can also make this dish into a healthy side dish instead of a meal served with a side of any dinner.

The cauliflower is first sliced into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place the cauliflower slices onto a large greased baking sheet. Combine all of the seasonings in a small bowl. Rub olive oil evenly over each cauliflower slice. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the steaks. Roast in the oven until the cauliflower is tender and crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large head cauliflower, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Place cauliflower slices onto a large greased baking sheet. Brush with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine seasonings. Sprinkle evenly over cauilflower. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
