Chewy chocolate brownies filled with salty pretzels, these easy brownies are the perfect mix of salty and sweet. It is quick and easy to make, all you need is a large mixing bowl and whisk to make these brownies. They make the perfect treat to enjoy anytime, because they are take just a couple minutes of prep work to make. You can even add in some caramel bits to the brownie batter to make them even more sweet.

To make this easy brownie batter, all of the ingredients are whisked together in the same mixing bowl. The pretzels are first crushed, and then folded into the brownie batter. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake until the center of the brownies comes out clean with a toothpick. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
  • Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth. Fold in the crushed pretzels.
  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
