Hot chocolate is the perfect sweet beverage to make on the cold winter days. But instead of a classic hot chocolate with cocoa powder. This hot chocolate is made with white chocolate chips and peppermint extract to make a creamy warm peppermint hot chocolate. You only need three ingredients to make this easy stove top hot chocolate. And it can be ready to drink in less than 20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or a candy cane for a sweet and delicious warm hot chocolate.

The only ingredients that you need to make this easy hot chocolate are, milk, white chocolate chips and peppermint extract. All of the ingredients are simmered in a large saucepan over medium heat until the chocolate chips have fully melted and are smooth. And the hot chocolate starts to boil. Divide the hot chocolate into three mugs and serve with your favorite hot chocolate toppings.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions
 

  • Place milk, chocolate chips and peppermint extract in a large saucepan over medium heat. Continue to cook over medium heat, while whisking constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour hot chocolate into two mugs.
