You can either use homemade chocolate chip cookie dough, or you can save time and use premade cookie dough and wrap it around Oreo cookies.
The dough for these cookies is a classic chocolate chip cookie dough. If you are short on time, you can also use pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough instead. Just wrap the dough completely around an Oreo cookie, and form into a ball. Place the cookies at least 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Let cool completely on cooling racks before serving.
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. IN a large bowl, mix butter with sugar until fluffy.
- Add in egg and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and flatten slightly.
- Place one Oreo cookie on each piece of dough, and fully wrap the dough around the Oreo cookie. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
