Soft and chewy sugar cookies filled with sprinkles, and chocolate M&Ms. These easy funfetti M&M cookies make the perfect fun dessert for any holiday or occasion, such as a birthday. Everyone will love soft and chewy texture of the cookies and the chocolate flavor of the M&Ms.

The cookie dough is started like a classic sugar cookie dough, then sprinkles, and M&Ms are added into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup sprinkles
• 1 cup M&Ms

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
2. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the sprinkles and M&Ms. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
