Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Let cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
Mint Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and mint extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
