Fluffy and buttery homemade bread rolls make a delicious addition to any dinner or holiday dinner. These homemade parker house rolls are so buttery and fluffy, and easy to make. These rolls would be great for making for Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other holiday. Serve warm with butter.
Because these rolls are made from a yeast dough, it will need at least 1-2 hours to rise. Although to save on time, you can prepare the dough up to the first rise and refrigerate it overnight. Then the next day, let it come to room temperature and prepare the bread as normal. To get the traditional parker house roll look, the dough is roll out into a rectangle and spread with softened butter. Cut into rectangles and fold each over itself, leaving some overlapping at the end. Place onto a greased baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes. Then bake until lightly golden browned.
