Crispy and spicy homemade french fries, served with a creamy and cheesy sauce. These delicious and crispy french fries are seasoned with taco seasoning and roasted in the oven until they are crispy. Then they are dipped into a creamy and cheesy cheese sauce that is so quick and easy to make. These french fries will make a delicious appetizer to burgers or hot dogs.

Russet potatoes are cut into french fries, or potato wedges. Then mixed with olive oil and taco seasoning. Spread the potatoes out into one single layer and bake until crispy. To make the cheese sauce, melt butter in a saucepan and add flour to brown. Pour in milk, cheese, and seasonings. Serve cheese sauce with french fries.

Homemade Nacho Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ( 2 oz.) packet taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Cut potatoes into fries. Mix with olive oil and taco seasoning. Spread potatoes out into a large baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for a minute to brown. Add in milk, cheese, salt, pepper, paprika and cumin. Continue to whisk over medium heat, until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce has thickend. Serve with fries.
