The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, except it is divided into three bowls, one is mixed with purple food coloring, one with green food coloring, and one with orange. Fold white chocolate chips into each cookie dough. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Roll each one into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Halloween White Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- green, purple, and orange food coloring
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, divided
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Divide the cookie dough between three bowls, and mix green food coloring into one, purple into another, and orange into the last one.
- Fold 1/3 cup white chocolate chips into each cookie dough. In a shallow dish, whisk granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls.
- Roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
