Green Bean Casserole Cups

Green bean casserole is a favorite side dish for all holiday meals. But a fun way to serve your favorite casserole is to make single serve green bean casserole cups. Everybody will get a serving of this creamy casserole with a cheesy crispy french fried onion topping. They taste just like a classic green casserole but cooked in a fluffy biscuit crust and topped with cheese. These mini casserole bites are perfect for serving at holiday dinners to ensure that everyone gets some of there favorite casserole.

The green beans are made like a classic green bean casserole. With canned green beans and cream of mushroom soup. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits and place one biscuit dough into each greased muffin cup. Stretch the biscuit dough in the muffin tin to form a cup. Place the green bean mixture into each cup and top each cup with shredded cheddar cheese and french fried onions. Bake until the cheese has melted and the biscuit dough is fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans biscuit dough
  • 2 ( 15 oz.) cans green beans, drained
  • 1 ( 15 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 container french fried onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Separate biscuit dough into biscuits. Place one biscuit dough into each 16 greased muffin tins.
  • In a large bowl, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk and 1/2 of the french fried onions. Divide the green bean mixture evenly between the biscuit cups.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each cup and top with the remaining half of the french fried onions. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
