The batter for the blondies is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are mixed together in a large bowl until smooth. Evenly spread the mixture into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Gingerbread Blondies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter, eggs, brown sugar, molasses and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger until smooth.
- Evenly spread the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
