Cheesy and delicious garlic cheese breadsticks make the perfect side dish to go alongside homemade pizza night. Or to serve with a bowl of pasta and a light side salad. These homemade breadsticks are made with two types of cheese and brushed with garlic butter. It is so buttery and cheesy.
For the pizza dough, you can either make it yourself, or you can also use a premade pizza dough instead to save on time. The dough is pressed into a greased baking dish. And brushed with a mixture of melted butter and minced garlic. Both shredded cheddar cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese are sprinkled on the dough and topped with dried parsley. Bake until the crust is golden browned and both of the cheeses are fully melted.
Garlic Cheese Breadsticks
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Press pizza dough into a greased baking dish. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic.
- Brush garlic butter over pizza dough. Sprinkle with both cheese and parsley. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
