Rice krispie treats are a quick and easy no-bake treat, but using fruity pebbles cereal in place of rice krispie cereal creates a fun and colorful alternative. These fun marshmallow treats are sweet and chewy, and shaped into eggs for a fun Easter themed treat. It takes less than 15 minutes to make these easy no bake treats. They make a great fun dessert to make with kids as a fun Easter treat.

These are made similar to rice krispie treats, except the difference is that instead of using rice krispie cereal, fruity pebbles cereal is used. And instead of being sliced into squares, they are formed into egg shapes for Easter. You can make these treats in either on the stove-top or in the microwave. To make these marshmallow treats on the stove-top, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in mini marshmallows until the marshmallows are fully melted. Remove from the heat and fold in fruity pebbles cereal until it is all coated. To shape the mixture into eggs, spray non-stick cooking spray onto your hands and form cereal mixture into oval egg shapes. Set onto plates and let them sit until the marshmallow has set. You can also make these in the microwave by melting the butter and marshmallows in the microwave instead.
