Easy chocolate s’mores dip with melted chocolate at the bottom, and topped with marshmallows in red, white and blue patterns. Everyone will love this quick and easy fun Fourth of July themed dessert for Memorial day or the Fourth of July.
The chocolate chips are first placed into the bottom of a greased round baking dish. Roll some of the marshmallows in butter, then the blue sugar, and some in the red sugar. Arrange the marshmallows in a flag pattern over the chocolate chips. Bake for just a few minutes, until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows begin to puff up. Remove from the oven and serve with graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
Fourth of July S'mores Dip
Ingredients
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- large marshmallows
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup blue sanding sugar
- 1/2 cup red sanding sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Place chocolate chips into a round 9-inch baking dish. Place both sanding sugars into shallow dishes. Roll 1/3 marshmallows in butter then roll in the blue sanding sugar. Roll another 1/3 marshmallows in butter and roll in the red sanding sugar.
- Place marshmallows in a flag pattern over the chocolate chips. Bake for 5-10 minutes.
