Fourth of July Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookie cups filled with Fourth of July themed sprinkles and chocolate chips. Everyone will love the soft and chewy cookie cups with the delicious peanut butter and chocolate flavors. They make the perfect treat to bake this Fourth of July.

The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except with the addition of Fourth of July themed sprinkles and chocolate chips. Evenly press the cookie dough between a paper lined muffin pan. Bake until the cookie cups comes out clean with a toothpick.

Fourth of July Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fourth of July sprinkles
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the sprinkles and chocolate chips.
  • Evenly divide the cookie dough between the paper liners. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
