Easter Sprinkle Chocolate Chip Blossom Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies for Easter. These easy cookies are filled with chocolate chips, and rolled in Easter themed sprinkles. After the cookies have baked, each one is topped with a chocolate kiss. They make the perfect easy and delicious Easter themed dessert.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough. Then it is rolled into balls, and rolled into a shallow dish of Easter themed sprinkles. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven, and place one chocolate kiss on each cookie.

Easter Sprinkle Chocolate Chip Blossom Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Easter sprinkles
  • chocolate kisses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place the sprinkles into a shallow dish. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll each one into the sprinkles.
  • Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven, and place one chocolate kiss on each cookie.
