The peanut butter mixture is started like a classic peanut butter ball dough, except for the addition of chocolate chips and Easter themed sprinkles. Roll the mixture into balls and set onto a plate. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until they are fully melted and smooth. Coat each peanut butter ball in the mixture and set onto a plate. Let sit until they are fully set.
Easter Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2-3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Easter sprinkles
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Roll the dough into balls and set onto a plate. Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Coat each peanut butter ball in the chocolate and set onto a plate. Let sit until it is completely set.
