Soft and chewy sugar cookies, made to look like the earth by coloring half of the cookie dough blue and the other half green. Then they are each topped with a chocolate heart. These easy blossom cookies make the perfect dessert to celebrate earth day. The whole family will love baking these fun cookies.
The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, then it is divided in half. Green food coloring is added to one half, and blue food coloring is added to the other half. Take a piece of dough from each color, and roll them together into a ball. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove the cookies from the oven, and place one chocolate heart on each cookie.
